Robert Heinlein once said, "In a mature society, 'civil servant' is semantically equal to 'civil master.'" It is the curse of advanced civilization that the ease of life created by it is the very foundation of its destruction. The mediocre, lazy, incompetent, and just plain stupid can survive -- and even thrive -- in a society with so much largess that they do not have to actually contribute. These people are by their very natures attracted to so-called civil service, where accountability is lax and expectations low. Over the course of the preceding century, these anti-achievers have ensconced themselves into positions of power, creating an environment in which no one who is actually competent wants to work. It is worth mentioning again that Congressman is the only job in the country without prerequisites; you have to be more qualified to apply as a fry cook at McDonald's. If you doubt that, just take a close look at the people in Congress.
Now Donald Trump, the ultimate example of a capitalist and demonstrably concerned only with merit and qualification in his employees, has walked into the middle of their carefully groomed garden of apathy and is pissing on their heads -- and boy are they mad about it! Mad enough, in fact, that they're willing to openly violate the law to remove him from office. Failing that, (which they will), he will be re-elected. At that point, it is highly likely they'll try to kill him.
Buy ammo, folks. The war is coming and no joke. It's the inevitable and eternal war between those who want to be left the fuck alone and those who won't leave us the fuck alone. These people think they have a divine right to rule and that we peasants should just shut the hell up already and OBEY. Our Founding Fathers fought this war two hundred and fifty years ago, and now we're going to have to do it all over again. You need to be prepared to kill when the time comes, because they will do it to you without hesitation.
Americans are just beginning to realize that opposition to Donald Trump is the least explanation for what bureaucrats, corporate officials and media magnates have been doing to negate the outcome of the 2016 election. Denying that government by the people is the only legitimate form of rule, they are asserting that legitimate rule flows from right-minded persons in the country’s institutions, elections notwithstanding.
