Unpunished

California has a major prison overcrowding problem. Predictably finding the worst possible solution to a problem, the leftist dolts who pretend to govern the state passed a law making it a mere misdemeanor to steal less than $950 in goods from a store. Even if caught, the shoplifters simply get a ticket and a court date. No arrests. Word has now gotten out amongst the feral population at large, and you can imagine how well that's working out.

That San Andreas Fault is really falling down on the job.
