Bright Mars

This Massive Dust Storm Could Engulf Mars for Months

I noticed when I walked out on the porch late last night (about 2230) that Mars was visible in the southeast and unusually bright. The storm is increasing the surface albedo significantly. There's still a faint orange color, it's just much brighter than normal and easily visible to the naked eye. You can go here to check times for your area.
