Robot Taxis

Ride-hailing app Lyft is teaming up with major car manufacturers like Ford and GM to build a robot taxi network. In fact, GM is planning on putting self-driving Volts on the road next year, potentially tied into this network.

I approve of this. I'd rather have the phone addicts driven around in robot cars than have them get behind the wheel. They get to keep their noses stuck in their phones, doing whatever it is they find so fascinating inside those portable idiot boxes, and I don't have to play Dodge-A-Dolt every time I climb on my motorcycle.
