Feathers in Amber
This fragment of a dinosaur tail from the Cretaceous (~100M years ago) was recently found preserved in amber. No, it doesn't contain intact DNA, so no Jurassic Park hijinks will be forthcoming. It does, however, display a lot of non-flight feathers, further confirming the evolutionary link between dinosaurs and modern birds. Piclick for more.
