Texas threatened to leave the federal refugee resettlement program, citing security concerns in seeking a more thorough examination of refugees.

"Despite multiple requests by the state of Texas, the federal government lacks the capability or the will to distinguish the dangerous from the harmless, and Texas will not be an accomplice to such dereliction of duty to the American people," Abbott said in a statement.

We're tired of shooting them when they start getting all terror-frisky. Ammo is expensive these days, you know.

As to "lacks the capability or the will," it's clearly the latter. Importing as many Muslims as possible is part of the plan Obama and his leftist pals have concocted to create chaos on the streets. It's one facet of the complex web the anarchists and leftoids are weaving to bring down Western civilization. It's no great mystery; this is what they've been up to for over one hundred years. We are simply seeing the largest flare-up since the early 20th century. Those who do not study history, (i.e., 95% of the population) are confused because they don't know what they're seeing. This has all happened before.

States' rights still trump federal authority, whatever the crooks in D.C. may believe. Governor Abbot knows that and is acting upon it.
