An armed man who robbed the same United Dairy Farmers convenience store two nights in a row was shot to death by a Columbus SWAT officer early Thursday after robbing the Far East Side business a third time, police said.
As undercover officers looked on, the man entered the store shortly after midnight, pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded cash. The clerk complied and was not hurt. When the suspect exited the store, he ignored the officers’ shouted commands to drop his gun and was shot by one officer who fired multiple shots...
