Lawsuit claims Purina food sickens and kills dogs

Wouldn't surprise me. We feed our dogs table scraps, real meat, and treats which I can verify as being made from real meat. They are both very happy and healthy. I wouldn't feed dry dog food to a... well, to a dog.

I laugh at vets and the misinformed people parroting them who tell me that only processed dog food is healthy for dogs and that table scraps are bad for them. I always respond thus: "Dogs have been domesticated for 10,000 years. What exactly do you think they were eating before American food processing corporations started selling third tier byproducts as 'dog food' for ridiculous profit margins?"

Vets push dog food brands for the same reason doctors push name-brand prescription medications.
