This issue proves the utter imbecility of the leftist "environmental" movement. How can any rational person even try to claim that moving oil with trucks and trains is better for the environment than using a pipeline? Do pipes ever crash? Do pipes require fuel to move the oil or produce exhaust? How is this pipeline somehow worse than the other thousands of miles of pipeline that already exist?

Obviously this has nothing to do with the actual environment and everything to do with undermining capitalism. Because communists are SUCH better stewards of the environment, don'tcha know?
