Nuttier than a Fruitcake

Remember Howard Dean, the guy who told grade-schoolers to drink their own piss? Well, he's baaaack! And he's crazier than ever. Go watch the video of him ranting that Republicans aren't Americans.

John Hinderaker writes:

A terrible sort of insanity has gripped the Democratic Party. On almost a daily basis, when you see the party’s leaders in action, you want to start edging toward the door, murmuring “Nice doggie. Nice doggie.” Today it was Howard Dean (filmed a week ago, but seen on YouTube today). He was addressing a Democratic crowd in Colorado, and went off on a tirade against Republicans. Yes, he really did say that Republicans aren’t American. And that they should stay away from the United States, and go to Russia where they belong. One gets the feeling that if the Democrats ever have the opportunity, they will have us all arrested. Or deported...

This is a very bad thing. We need two functional political parties, and these days the Democrats don’t get over the bar, no matter how low you set it. Their rants are so crazy that it is hard to tell what they are talking about. Dean says that Republicans want to “take away the right to vote.” Huh? Can you name a single Republican who has ever argued that anyone who has a right to vote should have it taken away? I have never heard such an argument made. Republicans do say that ONLY those who have a right to vote should be casting ballots, and that no one should vote more than once. Apparently Dean disagrees with these propositions, but of course he doesn’t tell us why. It is always easier to lie.

Rant on, Dean-o. The Dems look crazier than normal because they're in a corner. They went "all in" on ObamaCare, calling in every favor and pulling every dirty trick in the book to get it passed into law, and it's turned out to be a disaster of even larger proportions than its critics predicted. It's well on the way to setting the world record for most bloated entitlement program. To paraphrase Ross Perot, that giant sucking sound you hear is ObamaCare taking money out of your pocket.

So while they're busy trying to avoid discussing ObamaCare, what else can they hang their hat on? Foreign policy successes? Their foreign policy is to not have a foreign policy. The economy? I'll wait for you to stop laughing...

Obama's approval ratings have hit the bottom of the barrel and are tunneling, the Democrat Senate has failed to pass a budget for six years running, and even Bill Maher is starting to wonder what the hell is wrong with Harry Reid.

The biggest problem for conservatives, especially fiscal conservatives, is not the Donks; they've sewn themselves up into a bag and are rolling toward the riverbank. The problem for us is the GOP. Would you care for another Bush, sir? No thanks; the first two gave me indigestion. But Jebby and people like him are who the power brokers within the GOP -- the same people who shoved Romney to the front of the line -- will be pushing starting next year. If they do it again, if they get the middle-of-the-road, it's-his-turn slice of country club milquetoast into the nomination, we might very well end up with Billary back in the Oval Office.

So let the Democrats drown themselves; we've got bigger problems in our own house.
