Out with the new
The pack of "Progressives" who staff Google are notorious tinkerers. Sometimes this results in good things; other times, not so good. Take, for example, the new Google Maps interface. This unintuitive pile of electronic dog poo is a prime example of why newer is not always better. Just attempting to use it is guaranteed to spike your blood pressure 30 points. So don't.

It comes as some consolation that they are being rewarded for their "progressiveness" in the usual style. Talk about being thrown under the bus!
As with 99.9% of all these do gooders, they feel that they are on the side of the downtrodden and when the "people" rise up and throw down the rich, they will be spared since they were on "their" side. What they haven't learned, because they don't deal with them, is that the poor resent ALL rich people and ALL of them will be targeted. Just watch the last Batman movie. As bad as it was, it still showed what happens when the "99%" (put in quotations, because they really only represent the about 30% of the population that feels they are owed something for their laziness, the rest will follow to keep from being put on the funeral pyre, just look at Nazi Germany) are put in charge, all rich are targeted, all oppression classes are targeted, government, large businesses, small businesses, ANYONE that they felt was part of the old regime. Any of these "progressives that feel they are immune need only look to Cuba, Nazi Germany, Russia, China, and any number of Communist countries. The leadership came from the rank and file, Not the "rich" that were on their side.
