Unfortunately, as the libs migrate to Texas for the jobs they will still vote for the libs that killed the economy in the states they are fleeing from.
I'm afraid you may be right. However, we can at least make an attempt to convert them...

In all seriousness, I've found that many of them "convert" of their own accord after being here a few years. We have many people in our office who came from Yankeeland, and their initial resistance to The Ways of Texas often dries up after a few years when they come to understand how the system works in their favor if they'll merely hold themselves to a standard.
As a rule, the ones who come here WANT to work. The welfare queens and other undesirables tend to squat where they are rather than move to a place where they'll actually have to support themselves.
Let's hope the math works in our favor. If it doesn't, and things continue down the path to "soft" tyranny in the rest of the country, we can always secede. That'll separate the wheat from the chaff pretty quickly when they have to pick a side.
