Monkey Shadow Sunshine Princess

No, that's not one of Frank Zappa's bastard children. Those are four of the 25 most popular passwords of 2013. Variations of 1234, 1111, etc., are still the most popular.

Not so secure.

On the other hand, our IT nazis make me change my corporate password every month. It must match a yoga-like contortion framework in order to be accepted by The High Overlord Mainframe in The Magic Castle Server Room. Right now it's TIFS770!!#1968. That's much tougher for potential evil-doers to guess than "monkey." Except that I can't remember it, so there's a list hanging from the front of my monitor. The one that's not crossed out is the current password.

Much more secure.
