TSA vs MacGyver
So apparently a rather creative fellow decided to demonstrate the ridiculousness of the Security Theater that is the TSA at our nations airports. He's did this by creating a "gun" out of items he purchased from shops that are INSIDE the TSA security perimeter.

A friend made the following comment about the whole thing:
"How about this: Issue me my freekin' bloated-government-agency-run-amock-Nazi-FAA-approved frangible ammo and I'll board the optional "I'll take my own chances, thanks" FREEDOM flight with the express boarding for American CITIZENS and no searches. They can't blow us all up, and it's a crap-shoot whether these flying-cattle-car deathtraps will touch down on their wheels on the other end anyway."

I've ridden in cattle cars (for hours at a time on some occasions), and I can tell you for certain that comparing an airliner to a cattle car is an insult to cattle cars, as they are far more spacious and comfortable. And more likely to arrive at their destination.
Open carry flights! Genius! Bonus: no liberals will board it. Neither will terrorists, obviously. Ergo, the terrorists will all be on the planes full of liberals. This idea is looking better all the time.
The TSA is just an exercise to see just how much crap Americans are willing to put up with. Willingly subjecting ourselves to tyranny incrementally. Resistence is futile.
