The Pueblo
The loons in North Korea are slapping a fresh coat of paint on the USS Pueblo and putting it on display in Pyongyang as a "war memorial." If you're unaware of the history, in 1968 North Korean forces attacked and seized the USS Pueblo while it was in international waters, then proceeded to beat and abuse the crew for a year. They've spent the ensuing 45 years trumpeting this blatant act of piracy as some sort of great victory over the Evil Imperialist Oppressors -- that'd be You and Me, (trademarked and copyrighted, all rights reserved).
I say we should take the opportunity to lance this irritating little boil and be done with it. Since Kim Jong Chubby annulled the cease fire earlier this year, we are technically in a state of war with North Korea. We should have a B-2 on station for the unveiling, whereupon it will put a 2000-lb JDAM down the pipe of the Pueblo. It's our toy, and WE will decide how, where, and when it's displayed, thank you. Of course, a bunch of high muckety-muck commie leaders will probably be in close proximity at the time -- and wouldn't that be a tragedy?

Vice did a great piece on the Pueblo with their "Inside North Korea" doc.
