Political Ammo
There is one absolutely inviolable rule where politics are concerned: nothing is ever exactly what it seems.
We've known for years that when the Dem power-brokers in Washington really wanted to make a serious grab for guns, they'd go for ammo as the proxy. Well, this dumb pawn in Florida has started the shitball rolling. I say "pawn" because you can bet a State senator didn't come up with this idea on her own. This was generated by marching orders from Washington via the DNC. This woman likely isn't bright enough to balance her own check book, let alone originate such controversial legislation. More to the point, she doesn't have the clout; if the DNC and the Obama administration didn't want this to happen, they'd have gotten wind and shut it down before it became public knowledge. Ms Audrey Gibson is just another of the many "useful idiots" with which the Dem controllers surround themselves as a matter of policy. In this case, she has become the opening move in the latest phase of The Game. She is disposable.
Submitter sent this under the subject line "this is how it begins," and he's absolutely right. They're testing the waters to see how this will be received. I'd venture a guess our court system is still strong enough to shoot it down... this time. But eventually this sort of nonsense will gain traction, and it will be due primarily to the unceasing propaganda bombardment from the media implying that only evil people want to own guns. That, of course, will only become the truth when private citizens are no longer allowed to own guns -- or buy ammunition, which amounts to the same thing.
Nothing good will come of this course of action on the part of the Democrats. At the very least, it will further widen the political and economic fissures between the various States, which will eventually cause the United States to cease to exist in all but name. At worst, it will trigger a revolution. Neither prospect is pleasant. I selfishly hope that I can live another 30 or so years in peace and then die in my sleep. But I'm buying ammo while I can.
