Bot Boxing

Just when you thought reality television couldn't get any sillier, along comes life-sized Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. One of them has an axe for a head.

An axe. For a HEAD. Genius.

Hehehe. You had to know it was inevitable. The moment the robotics & engineering grad students started building robots and putting them in head-to-head competition (usually involving collecting the most pingpong balls or pushing the other robot out of a ring) someone somewhere saw it and said "Dude, if we could put flamethrowers and a big axe on those and make them fight it out, it would be awesome!"
