Entangled

Lt. Uhura, raise Starfleet on subspace radio.

White coats in Germany have created the first quantum network. Basically they joined together two rubidium atoms in physically separate locations at the quantum level. Any changes made to any object in a quantum entanglement occurs simultaneously to all entangled objects.

That means the speed of the network would be defined as ∞
