It's only a model...

I have no use for Harry Potter. The books and the movies are both juvenile drivel -- though a step above glittering vampires, if that's any compliment.

I do, however, harbor a love for artfully crafted scale models, and this one is a beauty. It was used for exterior establishing shots of the castle in all of the movies, and is a true work of art that was 74 man-years in the making. In an age where seemingly everything is a CGI phantom, it's somehow comforting to see people still creating such solid works of cinematic art.
