I've been on the fence for two years now as to whether Barry is a very smart man with a diabolically devious plan to ruin the economy, or he's just not very bright. This statement has forced me to apply Occam's Razor: He's an idiot.
President Obama explained to NBC News that the reason companies aren't hiring is not because of his policies, it's because the economy is so automated. ... "There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers. You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM, you don't go to a bank teller, or you go to the airport and you're using a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate."

The more the government screws with the economy the worse it gets. Totally automatic. Kind of like how automatic it is that stupid things come out when Obama opens his mouth. Technology didn't change so much in the past two years that businesses don't need as many people. Government meddling with private enterprise and other bad policy decisions caused businesses to fail, cut back on operations or move to other countries. No mystery there. This statement is so stupid it can't even be called a bad excuse.
