From the Why Didn't I Think Of That Department:
Oddly enough, my first official blog post here isn't going to be a brilliant statement of my own, but rather one I shamelessly plagarized from a FireRescue Magazine article. It's one of those truisms, however, like my "most people are mostly stupid" truism. This statement requires no thought, but is great fodder for discussion. One can see a multitude of situations where it applies:
"...unwritten 10/90 Rule of Organizational Inefficiency (ROI): 10% of the people do 90% of the work; and 90% of the people complain about the job that the 10% are doing."
Show me where this is incorrect. (Hint: it's not.)

So you must be the 90% since you are posting instead of working! Welcome LALA!
Tough crowd.
That's okay, Curmudgeon; just remind him he's a yankee and a hippie now, since he's living up there in OreGone.
I am not the one with a mullet and a bandanna on my head, Jar(egg)Hippie boy.
Bah! You're just jealous of my transcendent studliness. It's sad, really... but I've become used to such envious sniping from the lower classes. It's simply one of the burdens I must bear in life.
Perhaps I shall deign to send you one of my used bandanas, that you may cherish it as a physical manifestation of my superiority.
Ok, this isn't the interactive discussion I had planned ....
He started it! Make him go to his room!
