Scanning...

Yup, it lights up and bleeps and whirs and does all those other Spocky things. ThinkGeek has it here. It even has a detachable hand scanner. God help me, I'm actually thinking about shelling out 50 bucks for one...

They're also hawking a USB Star Trek communicator, which functions as a computer mic and makes the classic "chirp" sound when you flip the antenna open.

Fundy, if I might make a recommendation: tell her the $85 was for Xmas presents. Just don't tell her it was for your Xmas presents.

To preserve my marriage I will say I bought those as a Christmas present for you! That way she can be pissed at someone she has never met and it keeps me in good standing with her.
