Don't cook in Pyrex

In a break from the norm, I received a multi-forwarded e-mail today that was actually purveying good advice -- as opposed to perpetuating an urban legend, which is true of about 99% of "READ THIS!!!1" emails.

Briefly, don't cook in Pyrex dishes. They've been outsourced (possibly to China) and are now made of an inferior quality glass, which can cause them to explode with extreme force in your oven or microwave.
