STSTCS

A gentleman by the name of Jason Robinson has created a computerized version of the old 1980's FASA board game, Star Trek: Starship Tactical Combat Simulator. It was a bit more accessible than ADB's Starfleet Battles game, and had a unique play phasing system, which the author has dutifully replicated in his computerized version. It's quite well-polished, though the AI can be a bit daft -- like exposing unshielded flanks to point-blank alpha strikes, for example.

You can download it here.

Additionally, if you're running Vista, you'll probably need to download the V50 Visual Basic runtime, which you can get here. XP users should already have it. Oh, and your desktop must be set to "normal" font size when you run the game, else it'll appear all screwy.

Happy phasering.
