A Mighty Shrug

The Man in the Funny Hat sez:

Pope Benedict said on Monday that saving humanity from homosexual or transsexual behavior was just as important as saving the rainforest from destruction.

That's amusing, inasmuch as it is now generally recognized that the rainforests are not in danger of immediate extinction -- and never were, for that matter.

In summary, one irrelevancy analogizes another irrelevancy to discuss something utterly pointless. Bacon-wrapped steak for everyone on Friday!
