The real issue
This article gives the whole "poor little illegal immigrants" story, about how it is so horrible we are deporting them from our country, but I think the real story is this;
So, not only are they here illegally, but they also break our laws. This is not an issue, it is an epidemic, and something needs to be done, and amnesty is not the answer. My belief is that we issue more work visas and they can only be obtained in your country of origin. Give them 30 days to do so and then after that, if you are still here illegally, jail then deportation, oh and if you are here on a visa, any child you have is NOT a U.S. citizen just by birth. Remove all the benefits of breaking the law for coming here and you will get immigrants, not criminals.
There are also criminals. The U.S. does not break down figures by country, but it has deported about 55,000 prisoners so far this year.
