A small delay:

First tests in a scientific project aimed at solving mysteries of the universe and the "Big Bang" which created it have been put off from November to late April or early May next year, an official said on Wednesday.

Researchers on the project, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), say this will recreate in miniature the conditions which existed nanoseconds after the Big Bang some 15 billion years ago and should allow them to see what happened next.

A new universe can wait a bit. After all, from a removed point of view it was only a few nanoseconds ago that ours was created. Works the other way, too: positive and negative precession of creation... in English, the chicken or the egg.

Somebody's going to be mightily disappointed when he discovers that God wears spectacles and a white lab coat and has a nasty nose-picking habit.
