Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, reacting to reports that he has engaged a clairvoyant, urged people on Monday to contact him through the ether.

[An] opposition legislator said Canadians should call the prime minister's office and insist he do more on climate change.

"I did note the recommendation ... that people call me on this issue. I'm gathering from some recent press reports that they should be able to reach me without calling at all. I can just hear through mediums," he said with a straight face.

Sounds reasonable to me: use one confidence game to talk about another.
