Race, Creed, or... uh...

Pork soup:

A French court ruled on Tuesday that an organisation with far-right links can continue offering pork soup to the homeless, rejecting police complaints that the food distribution was racist.

Police banned the soup kitchen last month, arguing that the handouts discriminated against Jews and Muslims who do not eat pork on religious grounds.

I know there are a lot of poorly educated people out there, but is it really so difficult to understand this:

Race ≠ Religion

For law enforcement to make an assertion that serving pork soup is racist on account of religious beliefs is like claiming that the moon lawnmower doesn't have the monkey pocket under a Kentucky sugar mine...

It makes my head hurt to contemplate the sheer, overwhelming volume of stupidity and ignorance that must certainly be a prerequisite for making such a claim.

STOP IT.
