Cheap Confetti

Insufficient funds:

A lavish wedding where newly-weds were sprinkled with shredded euro-note confetti has provoked outrage in a French town.

Well, whaddya know; there is a use for the euro.

"People chucking money away in the street for everyone to see, when there are so many struggling to get by!"

Spoken like a true Froggie socialist. I'd advise him to start a business and make his own fortune, but the government in Paris has so porked the French economy as to make Louis XVI seem like a frugal shopkeeper.

Years ago, I spent a considerable amout of time in India. I always kept a pocket full of Rupee notes on hand in case I had to use a public toilet. At the exchange rate prevalent at the time it was about all they were good for. I suppose another option would have been to use a holy man's beard and give him the Rupees, but that seems more than a bit creepy. LOL
