How Do You Spell "unedukaetd"?

The spelling simpletons are standing on their hind legs and barking again.

You scoff, (or at least I do), but they're simply following the trail of bread crumbs left by our public school system. If people are failing the test, make it easier and easier until the dumbest window-licker can pass it. Once everybody passes, call it a success and file a request for more funding. Because catering to the lowest common denominator is the key to success... isn't it?

Precisely, because what is the point in celebrating something that is easy? If anyone could strap on skates and win the Stanley Cup, then it wouldn't really mean anything when you did.

Language has never been "logical", it is something that changes and evolves over time. English is even more convoluted because it incorporates words from several other language groups. Words have both old and new meanings, and changing their spelling would deprive the language of its depth of meaning. I guess shallow people just don't understand that.
