Las Ratas En El Desierto

Rescued:

A group of stranded illegal immigrants facing death in the parched Arizona desert saved themselves by using a cell phone to call rescue services, the U.S. Border Patrol said.

Damned cell phones.

So, let me get this straight. They entered the country illegally, then they called our emergency services to come pick them up, and we actually did? WTF? Why not just laugh and hang up?

To anyone that wonders why Americans consider this such a problem, ask yourself who paid for those helicopters to go out there? Do you have any idea how much fuel those things burn? These guys didn't even pay for the PHONE CALL, American taxpayers picked up every cent of this ridiculous episode.
