¡Invasión!

Hugo Chavez, the terminally neurotic mental hairball currently in charge of the ongoing socio-economic disaster known as Venezuela, decided to stage some wargames to teach his military how to repel the hated gringos when we come to steal their oil. I've taken the liberty of highlighting the pertinent bits:

The Chavez government said it is preparing citizens to fight a guerrilla war to repel a possible Iraq-style invasion by U.S. troops.

A naval landing craft made landfall...carrying troops and over a dozen camouflaged tanks. The "invading" army then took over the massive Paraguana Refining Complex, a key asset of the world's No. 5 crude exporter.

You gotta hand it to old Chavez; he's good for an occasional laugh.

Hey, Hugo: we blow up more of our own tanks than that every month. For target practice. If we ever actually become imperialistic, there ain't a damned thing you or anybody else in the world can do about it. So do yourself a favor and recycle the steel in those tanks into something useful. Like oil derricks.
