Hark! A Moron This Way Comes

In case you were wondering what a congenital idiot looks like:

"I sort of felt ashamed, and didn't really want to be associated with being an American,"

Convenient and expedient solution to your conundrum: Leave. Now, please. Write me; I'll send you the airfare.

"I DID NOT VOTE 4 BUSH."

I have conjured a more appropiate motto for you: "I DIDNT PAS FORTH GRAD GRAMER"

If you need help on the airfare let me know! I would be more than happy to send that non appreciative waste of sperm to a country where she can feel proud. Maybe France……

So let me get this straight. You were in a foriegn country in a room with people who are probably less educated than yourself. There's a good posibility that they have even less understanding of American and international politics than you do. So they're spouting a bunch of crap about how bad the US is and you feel like the odd one out. Before this she probably didn't have a strong opinion. So I doubt this is about some great conviction that Bush is bad. I would bet it's more about I didn't know if they were right or not and I got embarrased for being an ignorant git. This evaluation could be wrong but I doubt it. Even if they're highly educated diplomats it still comes down to a point of view, and nothing guarantees they're right even then.

Make no mistake. You can support Kerry/the Democrats and not be an idiot. To some degree it comes down to who do you believe. I try to read both sides of the arguments and apply some logic to come up with my opinions. And even then I realize that they're opinions. I still listen to any credible information that comes my way and re-evaluate my current opinion on something. It's called open minded criticle thinking. Simply stated I don't accept anything at face value including my own current opinion on somthing. I may act on my current view point but only because it's the best thing I have to go on at the time. I do not feel ashamed or embarrased for this. I'm doing the best I can with what I have. I will never appologize for that. If I turn out to be wrong, oh well, I was wrong then. It's still nothing to be embarrased about.

Anyway, my 2 cents worth.

Later,
N

Just poking around on all of these different blogs and was stopped by what I thought was a picture of two tanks engaged in some sort of military coitus.

Then I read your offer to fly one of these left leaning hippie jerks to Europe. Really? For what it is worth, I am pretty much embarrased to be an American these days, so if your offer still stands, I'll take a one-way ticket to Dublin. and you won't even have to worry about being misrepresentd by the likes of someone like me because once I get there I will probably tell everyone that I am Canadian anyway!

Cheers
Grant
